Serving the interests of the client

The main task of a patent attorney is to serve the interests of the client in the best possible manner in order to contribute to the economic success of the client. Serving the client, according to my opinion, requires from the side of the patent attorney:

  • a trusted relationship with the client
  • technical competence
  • legal competence
  • commitment

My philosophy of being a patent attorney, accordingly, may be summarized as serving the interests of the client on the basis of competence and trust in a committed manner.
